THE BT WINES STORY

BT Wines was established in early 2020, by two best friends - Brian and Tim.

It was our dream come true to spend time together talking, tasting and sharing our love of wines with those we loved and cherished.

In the beginning, we sold Australian wines to family and friends, but word quickly spread about the quality and service offered to our customers.

From here, we took the plunge and ordered a pallet of Rose from Provence, France. As this was a huge success, our plan was to travel to Italy and France in 2022, to experience these great wines, bring them back to Australia, and share them with our family, friends and customers.

But suddenly at the end of 2021, Brian passed away from a brain aneurysm.

This was absolutely devastating to everyone. I was unsure if this business should continue, and it stayed stagnant for at least a year. Brian left behind a wife and two little girls, so innocent and beautiful.

Now, my mission for this business is to share the profits with his girls, and to contribute to their wellbeing and future.

Brian has always loved exceptional quality wine and said that life was too short to drink bad wine.

I still raise a glass in honour of my friend Brian, and will always remember him, especially when drinking great wine.

To honour and support Brian, a portion of all profits will flow to Sarah, Ava and Mattea.

We are keenly observing the industry as more and more vineyards take steps towards sustainable environmental practices, and will do our best to support those winemakers and associated service providers as they try to make the wine industry “greener”.

We will endeavour to also use packaging that is biodegradable and environmentally friendly.

BT Wines will continue to source fantastic wines as long as our customers have a thirst for something new, interesting and fine.
